Inspired by a serene moment at a local butterfly farm, I looked up to see this Blue Ring-necked Parakeet positioned high up in the branches. Opting for a monochromatic palette, I turned the scene into a work capturing the quiet, desaturated beauty of the night. Upon completion of the drawing I felt it needed to be paired with a second drawing.
